The UK solar power sector has achieved a total capacity of 22.8 gigawatts as of the end of June 2026, representing a continued upward trend in national deployment. The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero reports approximately 2.076 million installations across the country. During June, households and businesses added 27,391 systems, contributing an additional 132 megawatts of capacity.
